A Fun and Heartfelt Garden Wedding

Some love stories just feel effortless , and Caitlin and James’ story is one of them. High school friends turned life partners, their relationship has been twelve years of laughter, adventures, and growing together.

James proposed in one of the most beautiful spots in the world - Wanaka, New Zealand. With the mountains and lake as their backdrop, he surprised Caitlin with a private picnic on a hilltop overlooking the water. Simple, romantic, and completely perfect for the two of them.

Their wedding day was held at Caitlin’s parents’ home in Mildura. A place filled with meaning, memories, and love. As a Mildura wedding videographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed and joyful setting. The gardens were glowing, the atmosphere was easy and welcoming, and everyone was simply there to celebrate two people who make each other’s worlds brighter.

From the moment Caitlin walked down the aisle to the last dance of the night, every part of their day reflected who they are fun, genuine, and deeply connected. There were heartfelt moments, plenty of laughter, a glass (or two) of fancy champagne after the ceremony, and a cheeky midnight Maccas run to finish things off, the perfect mix for a truly memorable celebration.
